Physical Description: [3] p. on [2] leaves ; 21 x 25 cm., folded to 13 x 21 cm.
Notes: Embossed with a shield pattern (10 cm. from right edge, 2 cm. from top edge). Impression appears on page one and page 4 (apparently done while letter is folded). Paper ruled in blue. Written in (now faded) black ink. Accompanying envelope, 10 x 14 cm, dated "Feb. 2. /98" Hand cancelled on recto in Elizabeth, MN, Feb. (date illegible). Machine cancelled on verso Feb 8, 1898, 6pm, in Madison, WI. Envelope partially faded, but otherwise intact. Opened from the left side.
