<p>
My dear brother C.<lb>
</p>
<p>
Another blessed year will end soon, one year is followed by the
next so quickly, thus the years of our lives pass successively,
we certainly don't have too many of them left, I don't think that
we can say with King David that "our life will last 70 years"
after all it doesn't matter much how long we live, just as long
as we can say-whether we live or die we are the Lord's.<lb>
</p>
<p>
The past year has been a good one, for both body and soul, and
if we are lacking any blessings from God it is unfortunately our
own fault, when I look back over my life I feel compelled to quote
the 103rd Psalm-praise the Lord of my soul, and forget not what
good He hath done for thee!<lb>
</p>
<p>
We wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year, and we
hope that this letter finds you in the same good health we were
in when it left us.<lb>
</p>
<p>
With our best wishes<lb>
