Johann writes about a visit he and his wife made to J. Peter Frautschi in July. Johann writes that Peter does not walk well, and that his sons help him with the work that needs to be done. He also mentions the marriage of Pastor Gasser in Saanen, and the death of another pastor's wife. He concludes with Christmas greetings and best wishes for the new year.
