Dear brother Christian

I did receive your letter, but was too lazy and apathetic to answer it
immediately.

I do not have anything new to write you about things here. In Saanen
several old people died who were very close to us, such as Aunt Lisi in
Turbach.

What the new year will bring is known only to God, how good for him who
does not lose sight of the Eternal above earthly matters.

A migration is taking place now from here to North Dakota, Canada,
Washington, mostly young people.
