28 August 1898, Letter from Johann Jacob Frautschi to Christian Frautschi

Johann writes that his son George had been in the hospital for two weeks but is home again and is recovering from typhus. Last winter his mother-in-law died in their house from cancer. Johann mentions that once again a summer has passed without a visit from his brother, and feels they are growing estranged.
