Summary:

Johann describes the troubles he had getting to the land in Minnesota that he had purchased. He seems inclined to sell this land and move yet again, most likely to Iowa or Wisconsin. At the end of his letter he asks how Christian's business in Madison is doing, and asks if there might be work there for him as a cobbler or grocer.
