Mr. C. Frautschi
Lomira, Wisc. 30 April 1873.
Beloved brother!
The Lord blesses you and your dear wife with the riches of mercy. I am truly sorry that I am not able to greet you in person once more. I now have a regular, intermittant fever, and my nerves are so bad that I write these lines with a trembling hand. I could only partially attend our conference, which was successful. I have once again accepted a position, trusting in God I do not know how I will fare, since I stand now in the hand of my savior who has helped me up to now, and who will also continue to help me.
I would only like to ask you if you can spare an hour of your leisure time to help my Heinrich so that he may cover up the bookcase which belongs to me. If you could do this, you would oblige me to give you my heartfelt thanks.
With your new preacher, the dear Brother Finger, Madison has every reason
to be happy, and surely will be. My position is quite pleasant, but I would prefer to be healthy, so that I could serve the profession with agility, rather than so; but God has this is _____.
Tomorrow, the Swiss chancellor will travel from here onward to Ashford.
Salutations from us to your dear brothers. Many greetings to you and your loved ones.
Respectfully, with love
Your humble brother
F. Heubler
My family is well.
Would you be so good and give
my Heinrich the $20 with the enclosed lines.
